PUBLIC WATER UTILITIES
We work for multiutilities, reclamation consortia and public administrations providing consulting services, management, maintenance and revamping of primary and secondary water treatment plants, pumping systems and automation of water treatment processes. We complete the range of services with laboratory analysis and the sale of spare parts, reagents and machines. We are structured to operate H24.
In IGP Engineering we have inherited over thirty years of experience of IGP srl in the management, maintenance and executive design of medium and large water treatment and pumping plants in the public sector. We currently work for public administrations, multi-utility companies and reclamation consortia, providing them with services of improving design and operation/ maintenance of treatment plants, both clean water and dirty water.
We provide availability and interventions on call H24; we rent pumps and sell B2B machines, spare parts, industrial materials for the water sector.
We are Culligan service center (the market leader in primary water treatment, with over 800 dealers in 90 nations) for large water treatment plants.
The fact that we have managed plants of various types has given us an extra edge as designers, because we have tested the weaknesses and strengths of the various technologies and machinery; Thanks to this direct experience we can propose solutions that guarantee effective and long-term results.
This knowledge has also allowed us to design and build a new tool, called ASIA. It is a simple, economical and unique automation module that manages to maximize the yields of biological purification processes, minimizing energy consumption. It is an innovative product, designed to improve the environment, which can make a major contribution to reducing the ecological footprint of sewage treatment.
WATER FOR PRIMARY USE
We are the right interlocutors for you if you are looking for specialists able to treat the network or well water to make it drinkable or suitable for the primary uses of your infrastructure (thermal power plants, laboratories) using technologies and air conditioning systems, filtration, disinfection, demineralisation, softening or use of membranes.
We know the entire water cycle in depth and are therefore able to provide, in addition to the design, also the commissioning and subsequent management of the plants.
As a service centre for the industrial sector in Culligan, we can select, supply and install systems with Culligan technology for you, for which we also offer “coupon” contracts for routine maintenance or “full risk management” contracts.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS
Since 1980 we have had experience with all the technologies of the purification of civil and industrial waste, from small compact plants to biorollers to large and large plants of type SBR, MBR, adhesive mass, combined cycles, phytodepuration included.
In the FVG region, even before the birth of public multiutility companies, we managed for our municipalities hundreds of purifiers, small and large, including those of Palmanova, Gorizia, Grado, Gradisca, Lignano. In addition to offering the traditional design, management and maintenance services, today we can support public authorities for targeted interventions of modernization and energy saving, using among others two of our products: ASIA and WaterIT.
Being operators of plants we know very well the needs of the Authorities responsible for the public management of the Integrated Water Cycle, so we are able to understand their specific problems and accompany them towards solutions that best meet their needs, whether they are technical, administrative or economic.
PUMPING STATIONS
Thirty years of field work with hydro-powered plants, reclamation stations, sewerage lifts, internal pumping of water treatment plants, with pumps of all possible brands, are the guarantee that we can choose the right pumps for every situation, for any pressure or head, also taking into account maintenance costs and energy saving needs.
Thanks to the internal expertise in the field of PLC and Inverter we are able to design complex systems, with automatic adjustments thrusts and logic of containment of consumption.
AUTOMATION SOFTWARES
For our customers we also take care of the optimization, automation and remote management of the process plants, tracing with them the best path to reach the desired result.
As plant operators, to optimize our work, we have selected and used several remote management technologies, some based on the use of PLCs and others on the use of PCs, then spreading these remote management techniques in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region; our most significant customers were Irisacqua, Acegas, Consorzio di bonifica della Pianura Isontina.
We design electrical systems, including automation switchboards with related PLCs, inverters, local networks and control instruments.
Thanks to our knowledge of process engineering combined with knowledge of electrical engineering/ electronics / computer science you can find in us an expert “System Integrator” for the problems of the water sector.
Over the last 3 years we have developed, in collaboration with Servernet – an information technology company active in Trieste’s Area Science Park – two innovative software products named respectively ASIA (Advanced System of Intelligent Aeration) and WATER.it, thanks to which our customers can respectively maximize the yields of biological purification and effectively control in an automated way the plant management processes, with a clear improvement of the results and an appreciable reduction of the costs.
PISCINE
We design water treatment plants for public swimming pools using machines and technologies, some of which are extremely innovative, which we have selected among the best manufacturers in the European and Anglo-Saxon market.
To all our pools we apply the philosophy IGPools, proposing different types of tank, coating and water treatment. We take care downstream of the maintenance and management of pools of all sizes and types, also providing reagents, control analysis, spare parts of the main brands in the industry.
SERVICE
We are a company based in Trieste, rooted in the North East of Italy and also operating in Istria. Our services cover all the needs of local customers.
MANAGEMENT
We were born as processors, specialized in civil wastewater treatment; our first customers were the Municipalities. Today we manage water treatment plants of all types, dealing with the operational management, possible authorization aspects, water quality controls, the dehydration and disposal of sludge and projects to improve or modernise the plant. We guarantee the remote control and control of the same thanks to our software ASIA and WaterIT and we are structured to intervene H24, 7/7 in emergency conditions. We are equipped with a Quality System within which we also operate within the scope of the delegations provided by dlgs 231.
MAINTENANCE
We are specialized in the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the typical machinery of water treatment plants (pumps, agitators, instrumentation, etc.) and we provide both planned and continuous preventive maintenance services, both on-call interventions also under H24 availability. With our mobile workshops we are able to intervene on the spot; workshop repairs are carried out on site or with qualified and carefully selected suppliers.
SHOP
Our sales office and the shop are at the disposal of the Authorities that must buy machines and instruments, valves, pipes and fittings, technical materials, chemicals, spare parts and accessories. Our Service technicians are able to provide after-sales technical support on request. We also rent pumps (submersible and dosing machines) and blowers.
LAB
The analysis laboratory is a valuable support for process analysis on water treatment plants, to be done quickly and without the costs of official certified analyses. Depending on the problem to be analyzed we set appropriate sampling plans for the customer, which we perform with automatic samplers or manually. Internal Service technicians can also perform on-site analysis with portable instrumentation. We provide the customer with the results and their interpretation. We are also able to reproduce in the laboratory the various phases of physical and chemical treatment of water and sludge, in order to simulate the process and define the main operational parameters. The laboratory is equipped with several portable instruments that are rented, for the measurement in the field of physical quantities (temperature, pressure, flow, electrical measurements) and chemicals (pH, oxygen, free chlorine, redox, hardness, conductivity).
